Conquistador, ex. Bush vd Heffinck, is the proven result of the mix between Clinton and Heartbreaker with the blood of Ramiro, like Cornet Obolensky. He is the full brother of Utrillo van de Heffinck.
Conquistador was approved for breeding in 2010. He already belonged to the group BWP Elite stallions, but was appointed BWP Ambassador in early 2019.
Conquistador started at the age of 7 under the saddle of Chris Chugg in Australia. He qualified in several international GP's up to 1m60 level, including a 5th place in the GP CSI-W of Melbourne. After his departure to the USA in 2009 he qualified several times at CSI5* level. He was 2nd in the GP of Las Vegas, 3rd in the Sacramento GP, 3rd in Surfside Del Mar, 4th in CSI3* Lummen Belgium and 7th in CSI5* Spruce Meadows.
Conquistador fits on many mares. He inherits a very good back and gives enough blood. His offspring are pleasant to handle and have an elegant head.
Conquistadors offspring are exceptional. Despite his limited number of offspring, Conquistador had about 20 products in Australia of which 11 are winners in CSI!
Conquistador is the only stallion in the world with 2 offspring in the top 30 of the World Equestrian Games in Tryon.
