Namelus R preferent ...talent, willingness, rideability

KWPN, Holst, Old, SF, Z (breeding family 154)

After winning Reserve Champion at the 1998 Stallion Show in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Namelus R showed great promise for the future. He has fully met the high expectations set for him as a breeding stallion, as evidenced by his preferent status.

Namelus R ranks very high in the KWPN breeding index for show jumpers (152). The stallion passes on abundant "blood" and presence to his offspring. He produces modern, light-footed horses with good necks and athletic, long-lined conformation. Namelus R sires exceptionally talented jumpers with outstanding willingness and rideability.

At a young age, Namelus R proved himself as a sire of top athletes with ample "blood," producing offspring such as the Dutch champion Boemerrang, the KWPN champion stallion Arthos R, and the talented PSI horse Nintender. Another renowned Namelus R offspring, Beau Rubertha R, earned the highest score at the 2010 Dutch Mare Performance Test (EPTM) (88 points). Her full brother Dexter R (Namelus R x Contender) was the revelation of the 2011 KWPN Stallion Show.

Namelus R offspring excel in international competitions, as evidence by horses such as Upsala, BMC Nathos R, T.Sellie, Tantalus, Monterey, and Triple X III (team gold winner, 2012 London Olympics). Because of his excellence as a sire, Namelus R is approved by several studbooks: the KWPN, Holsteiner Verband, Oldenburg International, Selle Français and Zangersheide.

Namelus R’s pedigree has no weak links. His sire Concorde has produced dozens of international show jumpers. Namelus R’s dam E Amelusina is the leading representative of the famous Melusiena performance line at Stal Roelofs. She is also the great-granddam of Den Ham Blue R. This dam line has produced superb international horses such as Hay Guy, Matcho KB, Barquilio, Esperite, Jade, Audi’s Idalco and Velusinus R (Vegas), and the Olympic show jumper Lamalushi.

Namelus R sires many black/black bay horses and no chestnuts.
