His international career with W.J. van der Schans was very successful. At the European Championship of 2001, Corland proved to belong in the category of the best in the world. He won both qualifiers and had the best results of the Nation’s competition and had the fastest clear round in the qualifying speed class. In the finals, he finished in 9th place. Corland jumped convincingly over the heavy courses and showed what he is capable of.

As a sire Corland passes his jumping genes to his offspring all around the world. The number of offspring of Corland who jump at the highest level is uncountable, the mare Silvana is the most famous one at the moment. With rider Kevin Staut she is a solid member of the French national team. At the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and at the European Championship in Madrid they won the Silver team medal. Top Gun won with K. Farrington the Grand Prix of Ocala, Eurocommerce California was with G. Schröder 1st in the Odense Grand Prix and Corjulana was the winner with G. Palmizi in the Cervia Grand Prix. More successful Grand Prix jumpers are for example VDL Torlando with C. Solem, Heechiem’s Tersina with A. Augustsson, Marlo with H. Dobbs, Sensation with S. Tepper, HBC Dancing Queen with J. Kayser, VDL Theresa Lady with A. Flint and Varios with M. Grossato. More successful international jumpers are: Rex G, VDL Rocksina, Parland, Pacific, Sir Corland, Snowland, I Due Laghi Sunflower, Pracht S, Marlo, VDL Santa Cruz, Stranger, Spring G, Pablo V, Celano, Carlanda II, Sunsolde, Selma, Tomorrow, Vimaira, Von Dutch, Vernon G, Verona, etc.

We also see striking jumpers in Corland’s younger offspring: Bacardi VDL and Aagje de Bioagrico qualified at the World Championship in Lanaken for the finals of the 5-year olds. Conte di Fosso became Champion of the 6-year olds in Switzerland, Casablanca was 4th in the Dutch Jumping Championship for 4-year olds. Celrita VDL had the highest score at the IBOP in 2010 with 87 points and she placed 2nd at the National Championship Free Jumping.

Corland has sired many ‘ster’, ‘keur’ and ‘elite’ mares and numerous approved stallions.

Corland is well appreciated internationally and has high expected breeding values with several studbooks:
Jumping Index Sweden: 160

Corland has proven by his own performance, and with that of his progeny, to be a treasure for the breeding community.
